The celebration of life. After family tragedies came one after another, their firstborn brought hope and peace back into their family.
The angel hearing the prayers, man rising to the call and making the choice to be a protector and better father than he had. The name of their daughter holds special meaning and translates to “daughter of the sun.” The light once again outshines the darkness.
Manny is a long term collector going back to 2013. The chest was monumental in bridging the gap between both sleeves we had finished prior, bringing his story full circle. Interesting to see how Manny’s life experience since our first session contributed and helped influence the work as we went along.
